Middle School Snorkel Club


Snorkel Club is open to Middle School 
students only who are EXPERIENCED swimmers. All students will need to pass a simple swim test in open water (where they can NOT stand) demonstrating that they are confident and safe to take out in the water.  Palm Beach County Park lifeguards are on duty at both locations and both Ms. West and Ms. Ryan hold Waterfront Lifeguard, CPR, and First Aid certifications.

Snorkel Club will take place off-site at Phil Foster Park and Peanut Island over the following four (4) sessions. *PLEASE NOTE: these dates are weather dependent.

  • Phil Foster Park - Sunday, April 15th - 7:45-9:15 AM
  • Peanut Island - Saturday, April 21st 12:00-3:00 PM (**Each student must bring $10 for the round trip ferry, there is a chance we could use the FFA kayaks for FREE but not confirmed)
  • Phil Foster Park - Tuesday, April 24th - 4:00-5:30 PM
  • Phil Foster Park - Sunday, May 6th - 1:00-2:30 PM
(We meet next to Lifeguard stand under bridge)

Peanut Island - 200 E 13th St, Riviera Beach, FL 33404
(We meet at the Riviera Beach Marina South Docks - Follow signs for 'Ferry')
