Karyn Mooney - Kindergarten Homeroom/Reading/Writing/Math
Mrs. Mooney grew up in North Palm Beach, Florida. As a child she knew she wanted to be a professional equestrian or a teacher, like her Mom. She graduated from Florida Atlantic University with a BA in Exceptional Student Education; has an AA in Early Childhood Education, and is trained in Montessori Education, Wilson Reading, and Orton Gillingham Method. Prior to becoming a part of the amazing GSOTA Team, Mrs. Mooney taught in the Primary Classroom at a Montessori school for over twenty years. Mrs. Mooney has been married for 32 years and has a 29 year old son, three dogs, and a cat. In her spare time she takes care of horses and loves to read and draw. In addition, she likes to go exploring natural areas around our amazing state. Mrs. Mooney has a deep passion for teaching, and firmly believes that every child can succeed! One of her favorite quotes is “If a child cannot learn the way that we teach, maybe we should teach the way that they learn.” -Ignacio Estrada

Alexandra Goode-McDaniel - Kindergarten Homeroom/Reading/Writing/Science/Social Studies
Ms. Goode was born in New Hampshire, she moved to Florida with her family in 2003. She attended University of Central Florida. She earned a B.A. in Elementary Education as well as a minor in Exceptional Education.  Ms. Goode used to always play “school” with her toys and dolls when she was young; she always knew she wanted to be a teacher. This will be Ms. Goode’s second year teaching Kindergarten at GSOTA. Along with teaching Ms. Goode enjoys traveling, going to the beach, and spending time with family and friends.

Kristin Signorelli - 1st Grade Homeroom/Reading/Writing/Science/Social Studies
Mrs. Signorelli is originally from Boston, MA. She moved to Florida in 2009 after earning her B.A. in Early Childhood Education at Southern New Hampshire University. Since then she has spent a year over-seas in Thailand teaching English as a foreign language and phonics to primer students. She has earned her Master's in Reading Education from Florida Atlantic University in May of 2014. Mrs. Signorelli had two years of experience teaching first grade within the Palm Beach School District prior to joining GSOTA team. She has had a passion for teaching little ones since she was a little one herself and is excited to be an active and engaging part of growth of the students and community this school year at SOTA! Along with teaching she loves going to the beach, crafting, and spending time with family. She lives in Palm Beach Gardens with her husband, Salvatore, and their two Yorkie puppies.


Leslie Boatman - 1st Grade Homeroom/Reading/Writing/Math

Ms. Boatman was born in Miami, FL, and she has lived in northern Palm Beach County since 2008. She attended Florida State University where she earned a B.S. in Communication and a minor in History. Ms. Boatman spent 12 years in Marketing Communications before coming to her true calling: teaching. She combines her experience with technology in the professional world with her passion for educating young children. Along with teaching, Ms. Boatman enjoys boating, snorkeling, animals, and spending time with friends and family.

Jennifer Ciampi - 2nd Grade Homeroom/Reading/Writing/Math
Ms. Ciampi holds a Bachelor of Arts in Clinical Psychology with a concentration in Child Development and a minor in Spanish, from the Gordon F. Derner Institute of Advanced Psychological Studies at Adelphi University. In 2002, Ms. Ciampi was accepted into the Derner Institute's graduate program in Mental Health Counseling, where she studied Child Development and the Psychology of the Exceptional Child. It was during this time that she discovered her passion for teaching. Before moving to Palm Beach Gardens last summer, Ms. Ciampi taught in Early Childhood and Primary Education in New York for 12 years. In addition to being a school teacher, Ms. Ciampi has been a dance instructor in New York since 1998 and specializes in Tap Dance and Musical Theatre Choreography. She believes her classroom should be a place of acceptance, expression and creative freedom.

Hannah Taylor - 2nd Grade Homeroom/Reading/Writing/Science/Social Studies
Hannah Taylor began her teaching career in 2005. She graduated from Missouri State University with a degree in elementary education with an emphasis in early childhood.  Hannah began her career teaching Fifth grade at a Title 1 school in Killeen, Texas. Hannah moved to her hometown of Columbia, Missouri where she taught Third grade at a public school. Needing some year-round sunshine, Hannah moved to Palm Beach Gardens, Florida in 2007. She taught second grade at a private school for four years. While there, Hannah coached intramural Sports including basketball, softball, soccer, volleyball, dance and cheerleading. She also choreographed dance routines for the school’s musical performances. Hannah taught Reading at The Academic Link to Kindergarten through 12th grade.  Hannah joined the GSOTA family in 2014 and is excited to be teaching second grade once again! Hannah and her husband became first time parents in April 2013 with their daughter Laila. They added to their family with their son Logan in August 2015. Hannah’s two dachshunds, Ozzy and Toby, are learning to adjust to the increase in noise around the house.

Brittany Hilliard - 3rd Grade Homeroom/Reading/Writing/Science/Social Studies 
Mrs. Hilliard was born and raised in Palm Beach Gardens. She graduated from the University of Central Florida in 2009 with her Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education. She is certified by the state of Florida in Elementary Education, ESOL and Reading. Since a child, she always had a passion of being a teacher. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family, crafting, and being outdoors. She now lives in Stuart with her husband, two sons, and golden retriever.

Beth Mandeline - 3rd Grade Homeroom/Reading/Writing/Math
Ms. Mandeline has been living in Florida for the past two and a half years since she moved from Long Island, NY. She received her Bachelor's degree in Education in 2001 from LeMoyne College in Syracuse NY and a Master's Degree in Education from Molloy College in Rockville Centre, NY in 2006. She has 12 years of experience teaching at the Elementary School level, and is particularly fond of the intermediate grades. Ms. Mandeline currently lives in West Palm Beach with her children, Gianna and Will who attend GSOTA.

Jessica Kigar - 4th Grade Homeroom/Reading/Writing/Math 
Ms. Kigar was born and raised in Jupiter, Florida. Growing up, she attended elementary, middle, and high school in the Palm Beach County School District. She attended Florida Atlantic University and received her Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education in 2016. After teaching fourth grade in the St. Lucie School District, she has decided to join the amazing team at Gardens School of Technology Arts. Ms. Kigar believes in the importance of building a flexible learning environment in which students feel comfortable sharing experiences from their communities. She is incredibly excited to be a part of the GSOTA team and to be working with students in her home school district this year.

Sarah Speegle - 4th Grade Homeroom/Reading/Writing/Science/Social Studies
Mrs. Sarah Speegle obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education from Florida Atlantic University, Go Owls! She is ESOL endorsed and professionally certified to teach K-6th grade. Prior to her entrance into GSOTA she taught 2nd grade in the district at a title one school. Mrs. Speegle has been married for 17 years, has 4 children and 3 cats. She has lived all over the world, visited almost every state in the U.S.A and has moved 11 times so far in her lifetime. Mrs. Speegle is passionate about children and their education. She believes in a diversified STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Mathematics) project based education with a side focus on social emotional development. Her favorite quote is "You have brains in your head. You have feet in your shoes. You can steer yourself any direction you choose. You're on your own. And you know what you know. And YOU are the one who'll decide where to go..." -Dr. Seuss, Oh, The Places You'll Go!

Eric Hollander - 5th Grade Homeroom/Reading/Writing/Math
Mr. Eric Hollander is a husband, a father of 3, and a former Professional Bowler. He graduated from PBCC with an AA, then earned his Bachelor of Science at the University of Central Florida. Mr. Hollander has been teaching grades 5-12 for the past 10 years. He is a native resident to Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, and a hard core Red Sox, Patriots, New York Mets, and Lakers Fan!

Sheri Gray - 5th Grade Homeroom/Reading/Writing/Math 
Mrs. Sheri Gray was born and raised in The Bronx, NY. She holds a BA degree in Liberal Arts with a minor in Criminal Justice from The College of New Rochelle. Sheri obtained her MS degree in Education from Mercy College in New York and holds certification in grades K-6.  She has been teaching for over 16 years and is passionate about helping children reach their full potential. Sheri is an avid animal lover who did a lot rescue work with multiple organizations. She lives with 4 dogs and more than a few cats!  Sheri is married and has just moved to Jupiter with her two children. She is a published author of a children’s book and enjoys writing. Sheri’s other passion is football!! She is a die hard Green Bay fan, loves to watch all football games and is also a Yankee and Rangers’ fan.
